Principle
This website is a purely informational site. It sets no cookies, uses no tracking and no analytics, embeds no third-party content (no external fonts, maps, videos or scripts) and contains no forms. There is no registration. No personal data is collected via this website beyond the technically necessary server log data. Pages are served exclusively over an encrypted HTTPS connection.
Hosting and server log data
The website is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA, on the Cloudflare Pages platform. When pages are requested, Cloudflare processes technically necessary access data, in particular the IP address of the requesting device, the date and time of the request, the address requested, the amount of data transferred, the HTTP status code, the referrer address and information about browser and operating system.
This processing is necessary in order to deliver the pages and to keep operation stable and secure, in particular to defend against attacks. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; the legitimate interest lies in the technically correct presentation and the security of the website. The processing takes place on the basis of a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.
Cloudflare operates a worldwide server network; data may therefore be processed in the USA and in other third countries. Cloudflare, Inc. is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. In addition, the European Commission's standard contractual clauses pursuant to Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR are in place.
Contacting me
If you contact me by e-mail or telephone, I process the data you provide – such as your name, e-mail address, telephone number and the content of your enquiry – in order to answer it. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where the enquiry concerns the conclusion or performance of a contract, and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in answering enquiries). The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required for that purpose and no statutory retention obligations apply.
Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR) and data portability (Art. 20 GDPR). You may object to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR pursuant to Art. 21 GDPR. Please use the contact details above.
